"Industrial hemp fiber should play a meaningful role in advancing public well-being—delivering safe, high-quality, and affordable materials for both textile and construction applications. It represents an opportunity to build a more resilient domestic supply chain, support job creation across rural and manufacturing communities, and reinforce American competitiveness. At the same time, hemp fiber production can help drive regenerative agricultural practices that improve soil health, reduce environmental impact, and create long-term value for farmers and the broader economy."
